Everything you need to know about the ‘The Flash’ (2023)

Everything you need to know about the ‘The Flash’ (2023) The Flash is a film which will be released in theaters on June 16 2023. The Flash is a superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The film is being produced by DC Studios and then distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film is mainly directed by Andy Muschietti. The Flash is the 13th film of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and would likely be the connector between the DCEU and James Gunn’s new DCU. The main premise of the film is that The Flash used his superspeed to go back in time in order to prevent the murder of his mother. In doing so, The Flash is trapped in an alternate reality in which there are no other superheroes. He seeks aid from a Batman different from his timeline and the help of a Kyrptonian known as Supergirl to save the alternate reality from General Zod. By doing this he will be able to safely return to his reality. The film seems to be influenced by the comic book storyline, Flashpoint. Flashpoint is a 2011 comic book series published by DC Comics. The films and comic books have their differences, such as Thomas Wayne being replaced with Bruce Wayne, Superman being replaced with Supergirl, etc. From the trailer shown at the Superbowl on February 12th, 2023, we can predict what will happen throughout the film. Something would influence Barry Allen into going back in time to save his mother. Likely Batman (Ben Affleck) asking Barry why he stays in this specific timeline even though he can go to any other one. Once Barry saves his mother, he realizes that the entire world has changed. There are no metahumans such as Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, Superman. Barry visits his home where he sees his mother is alive and he also meets a variant of himself, however this variant does not have powers unlike Barry. Barry then would most likely see news about Batman which gives him the idea of going to Wayne Manor and finding him. Barry takes his variant with him to the Batcave where they meet an alternate reality Batman (Micheal Keaton) who is much older in age. Barry asks for Batman's help and then explains the situation to him. It is also then realized that a Kryptonian known as General Zod has come to Earth for evil intentions. Barry then remembers from his timeline that Zod arrived on Earth in order to retrieve their lost Kryptonian known as Superman. Barry and Batman then break into a government facility in search of Superman, but they are surprised when they realize it's not Superman but instead Supergirl. They still enlist the help of Supergirl to fight Zod. Alternative Barry is also given Super Speed in some sort of accident. Together this team of 4 Superheroes defeat the antagonist. Barry then once done saving this world travels back in time and lets his mothers murder take place. This would then return Barry to his original timeline. However it is also likely that Barry would not return to his original timeline but instead a fresh one, so that DC Studious can easily transition into the new DCU. However viewers must take this prediction with a grain of salt as trailers are also often misleading in order to prevent spoilers and leaks. The Film is confirmed to release on June 16 2023, and will be available to stream after 90 days being in theaters. However this can vary based on the box office of the film. The main cast of the film are the following: Ezra Miller as The Flash / Barry Allen Sasha Calle as Kara Zor-El / Supergirl Micheal Shannon as General Zod Micheal Keaton as Batman / Bruce Wayne in the alternate reality Ben Affleck as Batman / Bruce Wayne in the original reality
